After breakfast, we set off to Aberdare National Park, leaving behind the savannahs of Ol Pejeta for the lush, high-altitude forests of central Kenya. As we journey north, the imposing peak of Mount Kenya dominates the horizon with its scenic views.
Along the way, you’ll witness the vibrant Kenya's countryside farmlands of tea, coffee, and maize, and traditional villages where locals go about their daily lives. We'll have the opportunity to stop for photos with Mount Kenya in the background, a perfect moment to capture Kenya’s natural beauty.
The landscape around Aberdare National Park transforms from open plains to dense rainforests and mist-covered mountains. The park is known for its biodiversity and diverse wildlife. Visitors can enjoy an afternoon game drive with expert rangers to spot elephants, buffaloes, bongos, and giant forest hogs. The park's forested terrain and towering trees create a mysterious and adventurous atmosphere for visitors.
Aberdare National Park features magnificent waterfalls like Karuru Falls and Chania Falls, offering breathtaking views just meters away. After visiting these scenic spots, the journey back to Ol Pejeta Conservancy begins in the late afternoon.
